Anna Griffin is a well-known designer of stationery and
invitations. Now, her exquisite designs are available as rubber
stamps from All Night Media! With Anna Griffin's collection,
it's easy to create beautiful greeting cards, scrapbook pages,
invitations, and more.
Having grown up in a family of artists, Anna
Griffin's inclination toward graphic design is no surprise.
Her talent, combined with her love of antiques, textiles and
prints, has inspired her company's success and growth.
Griffin launched her
business in 1994 by creating one-of-a-kind, handmade wedding
and event invitations. The custom design and attention to
detail provided a much-needed alternative to the traditional
engraved invitation. In 1996 Griffin introduced the first imprintable
invitation with a custom look. This allowed the consumer to purchase
a box of invitations from a local stationery store, print
them at home and have the result be as elegant as a custom
designed product.
Anna's designs are derived from antique engravings, botanical
prints, and vintage fabrics. She combined these elegant features
with her signature vellum and ribbon, which separated her
products from the competition and began a trend that is still
popular today. The line was an immediate success and although
it has expanded to include many products, the design philosophy
remains constant. "I want people to look at our products and
experience beauty. I want someone to receive my invitations
and feel they've received a gift."
In 1998, the Anna Griffin product line expanded to include
a collection of elegant note cards, note pads and greeting
cards, which became a favorite with upscale gift stores. In 2001, the company launched Anna
Griffin Decorative Papers, a line of beautiful papers, frames
and albums for scrapbookers. (Available at Michaels
stores.) Designed exclusively for the more discerning scrapbook
creator, the line immediately filled a void by offering consumers beautiful, high quality papers with
a uniqueness all their own. The colorful botanical images
coordinate with solids, stripes and tone-on-tone patterns
to create beautiful pages. In 2004 Anna Griffin added Needle
Crafts to her repetiore. Her elegant designs have been translated
to Needlepoint, Counted Cross Stitch and Silk Ribbon Embroidery.
These lovely kits bring a charming, new element to both paper
crafting and home decor. 2004 also saw the introduction
of border and background motif stencils specifically for room
decor. Each stencil features intricate scrollwork and heirloom
designs that bring romantic vintage looks into modern homes.
In addition to being the creative force behind her own products,
Griffin has appeared on television demonstrating her
techniques for creating extraordinary scrapbook pages.
All Night Media has translated Anna's floral motifs, frames,
sentiments, and borders into a line of wood mounted stamps
and sets. Brass stencils, punches, inks, and satin ribbon
complete the collection. View all of Anna Griffin's Plaid products.
